As a keeper of mason bees I really appreciate! Solitary bees are mostly underestimated because they do not give us the typical beehive products. However, they are amazing pollinators and raising them is a beautiful experience.
I found the video interesting too.. commercializing something we already have freely around us is smart, but also the extensive investment into bee numbers can only be beneficial. I liked it and though it feels really dumb to say, it just made me happy. Don’t think I’ll be leaving the honey bees behind just yet though. Maybe someone should be considering a UK franchise business – looked scalable and ethical in the main. Thanks for sharing it; its always interesting to see what people are putting into beekeeping.
